Dark Side

As of late I have been playing with my speedlites to gear myself up for some portraits I am about to do so naturally my dog Sia is a great stand in to help me with such tasks. There is no model release to worry about and as far as posing is concerned, a simple “Squirrel?”, “Frisbee?”, or “Where’s mama?” usually gets me the look I want.

  1. This is stunning. If she were my dog, I’d want this hanging on my wall! It feels like you have captured her essence and the lighting is special. I wish you were close enough so you could do a portrait of Grace!

    • Thanks so much Katherine. She is a good soul too. When I come back tell miss Sophie that I will bring my gear and some shots of her too. 🙂

  2. “…she does not complain!” I wish my young models (daughters) would do that…sigh, teenagers! Love checking out other peoples strobist shots, nicely done.
