Carnival

About a week ago Rachael and I went to the local carnival put on by the Adamstown fire dept. here in Frederick county MD. Needless to say I had a lot of fun. I dig carnivals like this because they are relatively small compared to fairs so even if there are a lot of people, it doesn’t feel crowded. There are only a handful of rides, yet there are no long lines to get on them. Local bands play classic rock on the flatbeds of old eighteen wheelers, carny games, bingo, and of course, there is the great carny food (candy apples and fries rule).   It was nice to wander and get some shots in while double-o Roosey (Rachael) and her friends ran amuk riding on as many rides as they could before everyone went home. Maybe one day in the future I will post an embarrassing video of me and Rachael on the last ride of the day. Trust me, the more I watch the video, the more it becomes a very big maybe.

  1. This picture reminds me of the opening scene to the original 80s flick Lost Boys. I vote for the video!
