  1. Great shot, the Heron is almost camouflaged by those rocks!

    • You know Kieran, your right. I think this was done on purpose on her part. She did not move for a long time, which leaves me to believe that she was trying to hide in plain sight.

  2. You must have so much fun, hunting for shots. Herons are so still when they hide. Youve got a good eye.

  3. I loved this picture. We have herons that live behind our house and I never knew how to tell their gender! Thank you for that! I love the way you have captured her with the background that is so beautiful.
