Some years ago I was on a job site where all the trades had to stop working while the site was being inspected. Due to the fact that I had my camera with me and some time to kill, I decided to drive to South Mountain, get in a few shots, and go back to work. When I got there I was shocked to find that even though I had only driven five minutes from the job, because of the higher elevation everything in sight was covered in ice. Every tree branch, all of the lower brush, and even grass was encased in least a quarter of an inch of ice. It was so impressive, it looked like I had stepped onto another planet. Needless to say I never made it back to work that day.
